We are the only licensed flooring company in Texas that is certified to test your concrete slab for moisture. All flooring manufactures require a concrete moisture test before you install their flooring. Due to a lack of skill & knowledge (and outright laziness), many flooring companies and installers will skip this step resulting in their customer’s flooring having moisture problems months after being installed. A calcium chloride test or other tests can result in a more consistent, accurate, and reliable result that can help flooring manufacturers, architects, engineers, homeowners, and contractors make better decisions as to when a concrete floor is ready for a floor covering installation. For a calcium chloride test, we charge $600 plus the cost of the kits $25.00 each. For every 1,000SF you need 3 test and for each additional 1,000SF, you need 2 tests.

The $600 fee is due before we come to the job site and the balance of $25.00 per kit is due upon test results.
